Reconfiguration of a Surrey bungalow to maximise light and views to the garden
This spacious bungalow in Chobham, Surrey had undergone unsympathetic extensions over the years as a family home, resulting in a lack of integration with the garden and main living areas, particularly the family bathroom.
Our highly successful project prioritised resolving the layout and flow of the property by working predominantly within the existing footprint. We added a small extension to the reconfigured living room and aimed to flood the main living spaces with natural light by vaulting the roof, creating a seamless visual connection to the stunning garden.
Despite the significant improvements to the living spaces, we retained the existing 3 bedrooms and enhanced them with the addition of ensuite bathrooms. Furthermore, a new family bathroom was included, providing increased privacy to the sleeping accommodation.
