1960s Horsell bungalow transformed into a bright, energy-efficient home with flowing modern living spaces.
In Horsell, Surrey, our clients wanted to transform their dated 1960s bungalow into a home that felt light, spacious, and perfectly suited to modern life. The goal: open, flexible living areas, improved energy performance, and a design that respected the building’s original character.
We reconfigured the layout, removed internal walls, and extended the living areas to create a large open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space at the heart of the home. A new master suite with a luxury en-suite was added, and all mechanical and electrical systems were upgraded for efficiency and comfort.
Energy-efficient windows and doors, high-performance insulation, LED lighting, water-saving fixtures, and solar panels ensure the home is as sustainable as it is stylish. Outside, fresh rendering, a new roof, and landscaped gardens complete the transformation.
From initial feasibility through planning approval and on-site supervision, we managed the project end-to-end, ensuring every detail worked towards the same outcome — a bright, modern, low-maintenance home designed for 21st-century living.
